Systemic Constellation Mapping
See what is really going on
Sometimes you can see the problem. But you can't quite see what's causing it. A team keeps going round in circles. A project isn't gaining traction despite everyone's best efforts. People are pulling in different directions. A decision that looks straightforward on paper creates unexpected resistance. Sometimes the missing piece is not more information. It's seeing the system differently.
Identify the hidden forces
Systemic Constellations, or 3D mapping, is a practical way of making the invisible visible.
By mapping out the people, relationships, issues or elements within a system, you can begin to see patterns and dynamics that are difficult to spot when you’re simply talking about them.
-
What is at the centre?
-
What has been left out?
-
Where is energy getting stuck?
-
And what changes when you look at the situation from a different perspective?
A different way of seeing
Constellation Mapping can help you:
-
Surface assumptions and dynamics that may be influencing behaviour
-
See relationships and patterns from a different perspective
-
Explore competing priorities and interests
-
Identify what may be missing or overlooked
-
Understand where resistance or tension might be coming from
-
Find new possibilities when familiar approaches aren’t working
The aim isn’t to create a perfect map of your organisation.
It’s to create enough perspective for something new to become possible.
From insight to action
A constellation map is not an end in itself.
The value comes from what you discover — and what you choose to do with it.
My role is to create a safe, structured environment in which you can explore the system, notice what emerges and consider what different choices might be available.
Sometimes a small shift in perspective is enough to unlock a much bigger change.
When might a constellation map help?
Systemic Constellation Mapping can be particularly useful when you are:
Navigating change
A restructure, transformation or new strategy is creating unexpected reactions.
Aligning a team
People are committed to the goal but seem to be pulling in different directions.
Unblocking a project
Something isn't working, but the reason isn't immediately obvious.
Making a difficult decision
There are competing priorities, stakeholders or consequences and no simple answer.
Exploring relationships
Tensions between teams, functions or individuals are affecting the wider system.
How I Work

I’ve been working with individuals, leaders and teams through change, uncertainty and transition for more than twenty years.
Systemic Constellations gives us another way to explore what may be shaping a situation beneath the surface — alongside my wider work in coaching, facilitation and storytelling.
Not by telling you what the answer is, but by helping you see more of the system for yourself.

Interested in exploring a constellation?
If you have a situation that feels stuck, complex or difficult to understand, let's have a conversation about whether a systemic constellation map could help.
